In two volumes. Lacks frontispiece. Half-title to Volume I only, with 2 press-cuttings & bookplate gummed on; on facing blank there is a transcription of lines on Byron’s death by Sir Humphry Davy. On Volume II title page are gummed 2 small press-cuttings, an In Memoriam & catalogue entry, and on verso a cutting of ‘Album Verses Attributed to Lord Byron’ & the note ‘Scott wrote - "It is as if the Sun had gone out".’ Half morocco with raised bands & slightly rubbed gilt. Boards slightly rubbed & chipped at fore-edge.
