Yale Series of Younger Poets. Foreword by W.H.Auden. 817 copies were printed. Cloth, fine in slightly rubbed dustjacket with a few slight marks upper panel. Laid in is a 2pp carbon copy typescript of Ashbery’s ‘Poemes Francaises’, titled in his hand, both sheets signed by him but signature on first sheet blotted out. He has added ‘Tel Quel 27’ (where the poems first appeared) in pencil.
