to Illustrate the Poetical Works of Lord Byron

31 engraved plates after Stothard, Richter, Corbould, Westall, Lawrence et al. Contents page gives their placements in various editions of Byron’s works. They are bound here in the specified order with Lawrence’s Childe Harold (somewhat foxed) as frontispiece as directed. Tissue guards throughout. Some foxing to margins but plates very clean. Crude modern bookplate on fly verso. All edges gilt. Somewhat soiled silk-covered boards, later half morocco slightly rubbed at extremities, spine lettered gilt with raised bands. Spine titling (but not title page) specifies ‘Finden’s Byron Gallery’, which seems to be the accepted title; 6 plates are engraved by W. or E. Finden.
