Complete in 2 volumes, 527 + 558pp. Originally compiled by C.M.Ingleby, L. Toulmin Smith & F.J.Furnivall with the assistance of the New Shakspere Society. Re-edited, revised and re-arranged by John Munro in 1909 and re-issued here with a Preface by Sir Edmund Chambers. Ex public library but with stamps only to title page versos; library bookplates on front pastedowns, labels on rear endpapers, small cardboard pockets on rear pastedowns. Otherwise very good copies, cloth in shelfworn dustjackets darkened at spines which also bear accession numbers.

Colophon: ‘Banners Death was printed after a Sat. hash-up (20 May) at Beau Geste Press by Opal and Ellen and Allen [Fisher] and Elaine and David [Mayor] and Mike and Felippe [Ehrenberg] [...].’ Multicoloured pages printed rectos only, each carrying Nations illustrations and some with text presumably also by him (although the copyright statement reads ‘the authors’). Side-stapled card covers with label silkscreened on newsprint. Covers slightly soiled, slight damage to protective tape spine. Internally fine.
