Half-title, (4), 89. Later impression with asterisks pages 44 & 46, catchword ‘when’ p.68, p.74 correctly numbered. The half-title is heavily soiled and with biographical notes in a 19th century hand. Frontispiece rubbed at edges but otherwise bright, text pages similar. Recent double endpapers, modern full calf binding in fine condition, gilt-decorated spine with raised bands.
